As it gets closer to the big day, no matter how much you think you've got it together, stress becomes inevitable. You can't avoid it, you can't run away from it, you can't put it off. If there's one certainty about wedding planning it's that stress will come for you eventually. Since alcohol doesn't solve everything, I put together a list of ways to really relax and de-stress. I find I need all the help I can get during this final countdown, so I figured other engaged couples could use some help too.
I was very young when I first learned what a golden birthday was---when you turn the age of your birth date---and ever since that day I have been anxiously waiting for that birthday to arrive. My 25th birthday, to be exact. I have always been big about my birthday and Mike knows this, so he took over and mapped out a full day of activities for us, keeping everything a surprise.
The first week of September is coming to a close and with that comes my disbelief that Summer is almost over. The last couple months have flown by and so much has happened that I've put off writing in order to adjust. But I'm back, again, with some updates on what I've been up to since my last post.
On this day last Summer, Mike and I woke up and decided to visit the San Diego Humane Society. After four years of talking about adopting a pet together, the big moment had finally arrived.
