About Me

new about me photo
Hello, welcome to Woven Words!

My name is Ciara and I’d like to thank you for checking out my lifestyle blog. This project of mine started out as a simple shower-thought: I wanted to create an outlet for my writing and the name just sort of stuck out in my mind. It quickly developed into what Woven Words is today—a place for me to journal and write about beauty, entertainment, fashion, travel, wellness, and more!

A bit more about me: I am twenty four and a college graduate from San Diego State University, with a Bachelors in English. I’m engaged to the love of my life, Mike, and we are happily living together in Pasadena, California with our cat. I’m currently working as a substitute teacher, but my dream is to make a career as a travel writer. I want nothing more in the world than to explore different places and write about every experience. I love all holidays (especially Christmas), I collect a lot of mugs for drinking coffee, and I have a tendency to buy books when I own plenty I haven’t yet read. I’m also a passionate intersectional feminist.

You’ll learn a lot more about me through my posts and I’d love to learn more about you, too! Feel free to leave a comment on my blog and I’ll get back to you ASAP. I’d love a chat!

Thank you for taking this journey with me! Enjoy 🙂

  1. I didn’t know you started a blog until I read your post today about National Book Lovers Day. Lol. I know what you mean…there is a “holiday” for everything. But, it’s sort of fun to get behind these silly holidays when they arise. If it wasn’t for some sort of social media I wouldn’t know about any of these.

    Glad you found your outlet!
